Without any subclass, special flavoring, feats, or special magic items, a fighter can quite easily seem like ‘just a guy with a sword’.   Hi, I’m Will, and welcome to How Do I Roleplay! Here I will be discussing different ways of thinking about roleplaying your D&D characters, from race to class, to background, to subclass! All of the lore info you find here is based on some of the basic lore as well as Forgotten Realms-specific lore about topics.  The title is fairly self-explanatory, but it really has two meanings to it. First, it’s to read as though someone had asked me how to roleplay something, like ‘how do I roleplay this kind of character?’, and that’s how I’m sort of approaching each article.
