Welcome to How Do I Roleplay!

 Hi, I’m Will, and welcome to How Do I Roleplay! Here I will be discussing different ways of thinking about roleplaying your D&D characters, from race to class, to background, to subclass! All of the lore info you find here is based on some of the basic lore as well as Forgotten Realms-specific lore about topics. 

The title is fairly self-explanatory, but it really has two meanings to it. First, it’s to read as though someone had asked me how to roleplay something, like ‘how do I roleplay this kind of character?’, and that’s how I’m sort of approaching each article. The other reason I named the blog this is as though I’m explaining how I would roleplay something.  Everyone has their own ideas on how certain things should look and feel, or how roleplaying should be done at their table, so these are essentially just my opinions, but even if you don’t use the ideas I talk about, or disagree with how I think something should run, hopefully, you can just find some inspiration here to help you come up with your own ideas for your table!

I’m excited to share my thoughts on D&D with you all, and hopefully, the articles here can help bring more life and fun to your home tables!
